NAM (Number Assignment Module): The NAM is the electronic memory in the cellular phone that stores the telephone number. Phones with dual- or multi-NAM features offer users the option of registering the phone with a local number in more than one market. No Answer Transfer: If a call is not answered in a specified number of rings, it will be transferred to another phone number of the user's choice. No Service Indicator: Usually a LED light on the phone that tells the user that wireless service is unavailable in a particular location. |
